Sanai WIlliams: A Deep Dive into the Fetal Position (My choosing)

When we are distraught or being broken down by outside forces, we curl up in a ball. Why do we do this? Why do we try to emulate our very origin of creation? Why that position that we were doing inside our mothers' womb? Inside the womb I could imagine was warm, quiet, and safe. We did not have to do anything and were taken care of by our surroundings. We were in there for so long, about nine months, of course our bodies would be able to remember this feeling of security and love that surrounded us. But we had to leave that environment and come into this world that challenges us everyday. When issues happen that we cannot handle, we curl up into this ball, hoping that everything around us will take care of itself and us like it did so many years before.
