Grayson Plummer: In class reading- Blog #8 A Revelation of Love Pt. 2

On 4/9 we continued to look at a A Revelation of Love. We looked more at Eros, where he is described as beyond sexual love. He then goes on to call Venus mischievous which is what I want to explore further in this blog. This description of Venus as being mischievous by Eros could also be related to the nature of love in itself. Love can be considered unpredictable, and at times a symbolic representation of the unpredictable and sometimes impulsive in itself. Love, like Venus, can be both enchanting and overwhelming, capable of inspiring joy and mischief in equal measure.
