Femoral means temporary or that something passes. How is spiritual experience not as femoral as our sensuality? Things you feel you can immediately be forgotten where your spiritual beliefs are rooted deeper and are harder to just put aside. What is an example of something femoral? When you can remember an idea and picture it but you do not have the actual tangible thing. Knowledge can be something that is measured or non measured. “I should have the more trew minde in the passion of Christe.” What does passion mean? It means his suffering and what he went through during his suffering.

What does it mean if something is knotted? It brings something to nothing, but it also ties and binds us together to certain things. Sometimes these things can be necessities or things we need and other times they are unnecessary things, but we are closely intertwined with them. How many different ways can you spell the word knot (naught) and how many meanings are there?

The author discusses the idea that the greatest pain she will ever encounter is through watching him be in pain. What is he in pain from and why is she essentially being punished for his pain? It could be if he does anything against God because then it would affect him or through the Christian iconography. The pieta is when Mary is seen holding Christ once he has died on the cross and you can see the physical pain on her face even though Christ is dead and can no longer feel it. The pain has been transferred onto her as the mother. How could he posses so much love for everyone else above himself?
